We will work on body awareness, flexibility, strength, and calming techniques along with a fun affirmation activity! This class is a great compliment to your active Tween’s lifestyle and helps promote positive body image!
Join Renee for this 75-minute soothing and restoring workshop. Yin yoga is naturally healing and vital for balanced physical and mental health. Yin focuses on the connective tissues of the body by holding specific postures for around 4 minutes each. Calming and soothing, Yin yoga helps us to regain the balance in our very Yang (busy, moving, changing) lifestyles. The Yin portion will be followed by a guided relaxation meditation/yoga nidra. This workshop will be held via Candlelight.
In this 4-week series of Yoga for Beginners, we will learn the fundamental principles of posture, breath and movement. Each week we'll build on the foundations of yoga asana (physical postures) while working toward feeling safe and confident enough to join a general vinyasa style yoga class.
