Tanya Dunne started her yoga journey as a way means to overcome old sports injuries and to reduce the stress from her corporate job. However, her exploration extended beyond the physical postures, guiding her towards the profound spiritual and emotional aspects of the practice.

Tanya envisions yoga as a transformative opportunity, intertwining physical challenges, mindful attention, and spiritual guidance. She firmly believes in the empowering effects of yoga and meditation, fostering clarity, confidence, strength, and a gentle softening of life’s rough edges. Tanya is dedicated to sharing these transformative experiences with her students through her teaching.

She places a strong emphasis on helping students discover ease and flow in movement through innovative sequences, descriptive prompts, and unique music selections. If it’s in a vinyasa, power flow or an aerial class, her teaching style reflects a commitment to providing a holistic and enriching experience for her students.

Tanya’s qualifications include the completion of her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center (AYC) in 2019 and the subsequent completion of her 300-hour advanced studies at AYC in 2020. Additionally, she holds a certification in aerial yoga from the Aerial Yoga Academy, along with continued studies in mental health and trauma informed, further expanding her expertise in the realm of yoga and wellness.
